The Course Manager Peter Tulk will advise on daily course conditions using the Course Information Line (01458 241017 Option 2) but we would be grateful if members and visitors would take note of the following information.
There is some winter project work being carried out on the course, including drainage and re-designing of some bunkers. Therefore, some areas of the course could be cordoned off whilst work is carried out in certain areas. We are not using temporary greens, although when it is frosty the holes will be at the very front.
We will endeavour to keep the course open as much as possible during the winter months, however should there be extreme wet weather, or snow or icy conditions the course could be closed for part/all of particular days. If the course is closed on a weekend day then it will remain closed all day.
We ask all members and visitors to carry their clubs if at all possible. If this is simply not possible, then be aware there could be a trolley/buggy ban in place at the start of any day when there is frost, which will be removed when and if conditions improve. On competition days any ban would remain in place all day.
Please try to keep away from the approaches and surrounds to greens and the immediate vicinity of teeing grounds to prevent excessive wear and tear in these vulnerable areas.
Please be aware of our Trolley policy as displayed on the Home Page
1. CARRY ONLY – No exceptions
2. CARRY ONLY – Medical Certificate holders may use Pull Trolleys in the ROUGH
3. PULL TROLLEYS - Players with Medical Certificates may use Power Trolleys
4. NO TROLLEY RESTRICTIONS
