JUNIOR NEWS

A warm welcome to the new captain of the Junior’s Jordan Watts.

This year sees our Junior’s playing in the East Division of the Somerset Junior Golf League.

We have been drawn away to Minehead in the KO cup which takes us right across the other side of the county.

Last year was certainly a re-building job but we finished a creditable second in the league with the winners Oake Manor, a further milestone was in some matches we actually had three girls representing the club well done to them.

Junior Club night will start in April and again will be run by Steve Stopforth along with Steve & Suzie Dodson, please encourage all juniors whatever their capability to take part.

Monthly we will be running qualifying competitions for the juniors over both the 18 Hole course for the more experienced, and 9 hole for those just starting out in the sport.
