I was honoured when asked to stand as Captain of the club for the coming season. The club has moved forward in the past two years with the investment introduced on the course by the new management. The greens have been the envy of many visiting players.
The club has a very strong playing membership with three teams in the Avalon League along with Lady and Junior teams representing the club across the county.
For those who enjoy social golf, club nights which start in early April and run through to October these are thoroughly enjoyable events both on the course and in the Clubhouse after.
Social events during the Year include Burns Night, Captains Day, St Margaret’s Hospice Day and various Cabarets and Dance nights.
