Unfortunately Long Sutton lost a very close run mixed friendly on Sunday 4-3, with most of our pairs giving shots. However the day was enjoyed by all and the Weymouth visitors left having commented on how incredibly impressed they were with the course - some had not played it for several years remarked on the improvement and changes and how good it all looked. The weather for fortunately lovely, if a little breezy, and the views around were stunning. One lady particularly who came to the recent Ladies Open and got a soaking remarked how pleased she was to have come back and been able to see the course and club at its best. A day when everyone was very happy to be outside and enjoying their surroundings.  The day was rounded off with a lovely dinner and our visitors went away very happy.  That’s what friendlies are all about.
