Mixed Open Competition
Wednesday 13th June 2012
100 players entered our 4BBB Stableford Mixed Open Competition on Wednesday 13th June - visitors from over 15 different clubs were represented. Everyone really enjoyed the day & fortunately the weather was kind. The course looked fantastic & played well. Meals were chosen by many from a delicious & varied menu provided by our great chefs. I would like to thank everyone for their donations of raffle prizes & the generosity of players buying tickets and for also taking part in the 'longest putt' competition. We raised an amazing £300 for charity. Many thanks to Judy Richards for her brilliant organisation & beautiful flower arrangements & my wonderful ladies who provided a great welcoming committee & organised and ran the reception area. Also, to Roger, Alex & Nigel for being our 'starters', Chris & Norman for helping record the results and of course Alex Radwell, ably helped by John & Gill, for running his ever popular putting competition, which was won by Alex Kersey-Brown.
