Pink Lady Day
All the ladies looked amazing today in their pink outfits on a beautiful sunny morning at Long Sutton.
It was incredibly difficult to decide who should win the prize for the best dressed 'Pink Lady' but Gwen's hand decorated pink visor won the day & Sarah Uzzell's pink absolutely everything (including in her handbag) won second prize.
The winners of the team Bowmaker were Ruth Lloyd, Anne Agnew & Jan Finan, second place went to Wendy Ball, Cheryl Stacey & Julie Taylor, 3rd place on countback went to Aideen Roche, Angela Baker & Pat Harvey. Very well done.
11 out of the 14 pink balls that went out came back! There were 10p penalties for landing in bunkers or in the water - £14.76 collected, £101.50 on the raffle & £82.00 in entry fees - a brilliant £198.26 in total for Breast Cancer Research.
Many thanks to Julie for her wonderful pink fairy cakes & Pink Lady cake after the game.
