Captains Message

There have been many highlights (too many to mention) throughout my year as Seniors Captain, not least the success of both the Spring and Summer Open competitions which attracted record numbers. My thanks to Len, the Open Committee and all the volunteers for making both events such an amazing success.

To you senior members, my sincere thanks for your support and encouragement during my year as Captain. I'll never forget the experience (mostly good, but don't ask my wife!) and feel very privileged and humbled by the generosity shown in contributing to my charity, Mind in Somerset. The cheque will be presented this Thursday (3rd) after the competition.

Finally, I know you will all join me in wishing Len every success in his year as Seniors Captain, Long Sutton Golf & Country Club. Good times ahead!!
