On the hottest day for many years 58 ladies from across Somerset played in the County Medal event. Quite a number of competitors succumbed to the hot weather.

Long Sutton members  featured in the final results. Carole Paterson Nett Silver winner nett 76. Eileen Arundell Nett Bronze Division 2 Nett 72. Gill Edwards 3rd Silver nett 78. Bronze Div 1.4th  Bridget Caddy Nett 79. Bronze Div 2. Chris Coates 3rd Nett 78 Caroline Lumley- Franks 4th Nett 80. These ladies managed both the golf and the hot conditions.
