Many will be pleased to see that the improvements to the bunkers has already started on the 2 bunkers on the 16th, work should be completed by next Friday 11th October. Although there will need to be a little time for the turf to settle.  Consultation has already started on a program to improve the surrounds and planned improvement to some tees over the winter. We are keen to not only make these improvements, but also to complete them to a high standard.

With requests ranging from tidying up in the carpark and the walk to the first tee, to longer hours on the range and bar. Many of the requests have already been put into action.

The bar area will get new flooring on 28th & 29th October. This will cause a little disruption as the bar will be out of action for those 2 days, however we will use the function room as the main bar on that Monday & Tuesday. New furniture will follow a week later. New seationg for the function room will be here before the end of October. With Sky TV also now in place the whole feel of the bar area has been improved

The new tractor, rough cutter and hedge cutter have been delivered. The greenstaff are working flat out to imrpove the course conditions and giving everyone a far better experience out on the course.

The driving range has new mats and the ball machine area has been enclosed to tidy it up. The teaching area has been enclosed to give a more private feeling while having your lesson with our new Director of Golf, Richard Antrobus. The lights have been fixed on the range and the opening hours extended to allow practice during the dark evenings. The lights around range now also work, so the whole area is more welcoming and safer.

So, although that's all for now folkes, watch this space as the improvements just keep on coming.
